B: Jimin, have you decided where to volunteer?

지민아, 어디에서 봉사 활동을 할지 결정했니? 

 

G: Not yet. Do you know a good place to volunteer?

아직. 봉사 활동을 하기에 좋은 장소를 알고 있어? 

 

B: If I were you, I'd go to the community center.

만약 내가 너라면, 나는 주민 센터에서 봉사 활동을 할 거야.

 

 G: The community center?

주민 센터?

What can I do there?

거기에서 무엇을 할 수 있는데? 

 

B: There's a smartphone class for senior citizens,

어르신들을 위한 스마트폰 수업이 있는데

and they're looking for volunteers.

거기에서 자원봉사자를 찾고 있어. 

 

G: That sounds interesting, but I've never taught anyone.

그거 좋겠다, 하지만 난 누군가를 가르쳐 본 적이 없어. 

 

B: Don't worry.

걱정하지 마.

All you need to do is help the teacher there.

너는 그곳에서 선생님을 돕기만 하면 돼. 

 

G: Okay. Thanks for your advice.

알겠어. 조언해 줘서 고마워.

W: It's my pleasure, Jimin.

G: Well, what should I do?

음, 제가 무엇을 해야 하나요? 

 

W: Today’s lesson is about taking photos with smartphones.

오늘 수업은 스마트폰으로 사진을 찍는 것에 관한 거란다. 

 

Why don't you help the slow learners?

너는 학습 속도가 느린 사람들을 도와주는 게 어떨까? 

 

G: Okay. Is there anything I should know?

네. 제가 알아 두어야 할 것이 있나요? 

 

W: Yes. Please be patient and kind to the learners.

그래. 인내심을 갖고 학습자들에게 친절히 대해 주렴. 

 

G: I'll keep that in mind.

그것을 명심할게요. 

 

By the way, do you mind if I use your charger?

그런데, 제가 선생님의 충전기를 사용해도 될까요? 

 

My battery is a little low.

제 배터리가 별로 남지 않아서요. 

 

W: Of course not. Go right ahead.

물론이지. 사용하렴.

G: Wow, it feels great to be on this ship, Dad.

M: I feel the same, Sora.

나도 그렇단다, 소라야.

 G: Yeah. Do you mind if I take the window seat?

I like to see the view outside.

바깥 풍경을 보고 싶어요.

G: By the way, I want to eat something like noodles or sandwiches.

그런데, 국수나 샌드위치 같은 걸 먹고 싶어요. 

 

M: If I were you, I wouldn't eat anything like that.

만약 내가 너라면, 나는 그런 것들을 먹지 않을 거야. 

 

G: Why is that?

왜 그렇죠? 

 

M: They may make you sea sick.

그것들은 너를 뱃멀미하게 할지도 모른단다. 

 

G: Oh, I see. Then, I'll have some ice cream.

오, 알겠어요. 그렇다면, 아이스크림을 먹을래요. 

 

M: That's not a good idea, either.

그것도 좋은 생각이 아니야.
