봐. 비가 억수같이 내리고 있어?

 

B: Raining cats and dogs?

억수같이 내린다고?

 

What does that mean?

그게 무슨 의미야?

 

G: It means “It’s raining a lot.”

그건 비가 많이 온다는 의미야.

 

B: Oh. Don’t worry.

오. 걱정마.

I have an umbrella in my backpack.

내 가방에 우산이 있어.

G: This juice is on me, Suho.

이 주스는 내가 살게, 수호야.

 

B: Excuse me? Can you say that again?

뭐라고? 다시 이야기 해 줄래?

 

G: I said, “This juice is on me.”

이 주스는 내가 산다고 말했어.

It means “I’ll pay for the juice.”

내가 주스값을 지불한다는 의미야.

 

B: Oh. Thanks a lot.

오. 정말 고마워.

G: You’re welcome.

네 취향이 아니라고?

What does that mean?

B: It means “I don’t like something.”

그건 무언가를 좋아하지 않는다는 의미야.

 

G: Oh, I see. You don’t like spaghetti.

오, 알겠어. 너는 스파게티를 좋아하지 않는구나.

나는 날씨 아래 있는 기분이야.

 

B: Excuse me, but can you please say that again?

미안하지만, 다시 한번 말해 줄래?

 

G: I said, “I feel under the weather.”

“나는 날씨 아래 있는 기분이야.”라고 말했어.

It means “I don’t feel well.”

그것은 ‘나는 몸이 좋지않다.’라는 뜻이야.

I think I have a cold.

나는 감기에 걸린 것 같아.

 

B: Oh. Why don’t you buy some medicine before you get on the plane?

오. 비행기에 타기 전에 약을 좀 사지 그래?

 

You can get medicine at the store over there.

저기 있는 가게에서 약을 살 수 있어.

 

G: I guess I should.

그래야겠어.

B: Thanks. Anyway, it’s too bad that you can’t come to my soccer game tomorrow.
